Women in the School of EECS at the University of Central Florida

The Women in the School of EECS are undergraduate, graduate and faculty women in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science affiliated with the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE; https://www.ieeecommunities.org/wie). The mission of the Women in EECS is to foster the success of women in EECS by recruiting, retaining, and encouraging women in majoring in CS, CE and EE.


Society of Women Engineers at the University of Central Florida

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE), founded in 1950, is a not-for-profit educational and service organization. SWE is the driving force that establishes engineering as a highly desirable career aspiration for women. SWE empowers women to succeed and advance in those aspirations and be recognized for their life-changing contributions and achievements as engineers and leaders. SWE has an active UCF organization. SWE members at UCF attend the regional and national SWE conferences and organize a number of local events of interest to UCF women.


Women@SCS School of Computer Science at Carnegie Melon

The mission of Women@SCS is to create, encourage and support academic, social, and professional opportunities for women in computer science and to promote the breadth of the field and its diverse community.


Grace Hopper Conference

The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing is a series of conferences designed to bring the research and career interests of women in computing to the forefront. During this conference leading researchers present their current work, while special sessions focus on the role of women in today's technology fields, including computer science, information technology, research and engineering.
